National Organizations

The National Association of Rocketry (NAR) is the oldest and largest sport rocketry organization in the world. You can join the over 82,000 serious sport rocket flyers who, since 1957, have joined the NAR to take advantage of the fun and excitement of organized rocketry!

The Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) is the official sponsor of the Rocket Challenge special presented on The Discovery Channel. Although we launch rockets of all sizes and in all power ranges, TRA appeals to the serious rocketeer. Most of our members are adults but many of them bring their children to join in on the fun. Plus we have a junior member program for those less than 18 years of age.

Local Organizations

Northeast Florida Association of Rocketry (NEFAR) launches every second Saturday of the month on a beautiful sod farm north of Daytona. Low, mid and high power from A to M motors. Standard waiver to 2000 feet with call-ins to 10,000 feet. Port-a-potty and vendor at each launch. Special events during the year including amateur, night launches, contests and two day launches.

Rocketry of Orlando's Community Kids (ROCK) launches every first Saturday of the month. ROCK is an Orlando based model rocket club. Model rocketry is a very exciting and educational hobby. Most of the rockets flown by our members are low-power and mid-power rockets.
